Lucifer, Fenrir and Even fly through the air on Lucifer's glider board. With Fenrir clinging to him and Even clinging to Fenrir. They landed outside of the village and the stench of decomposing flesh clouded their noses. The three of them cover their nose and mouth from the stench.
" Awe, this place is awful ! Why are we even here Lucifer ?"Fenrir asked.
" To find out what happened to these villagers, I believe we can find clues to fixing the second key fragments "
" WAAK ! AAK !"
A crow flew down from the sky and perched on Lucifer's shoulder. The three of them walk through the village. There were different people laying on the ground from children to the elderly, female and male. Vultures were devouring the corpses fly away as the three walks by.
" Whatever did this didn't spare a single human life " Eve said.
Lucifer looked on the ground and noticed footprints on the ground. He followed them to a house and Fenrir punched the door down. Lucifer looks around with his 「Magic Perception 」and notices someone hiding in the corner shaking with fear. They walked up to him and noticed that he not only wet himself but soiled his pants. The man didn't mind that he was still shaking with terror.
" Hey, Are you okay there ? " Fenrir asked but he didn't answer. Lucifer walked closer to him and stooped down before the man.
" What happened here, can you tell me slowly ?" He ask
"I-I-It came and killed them all ! "
" What did? "
" T-T-The black shadow of death. It came and killed everyone in the village ! "
The more the man talked the more he became traumatized. Fenrir and Eve were however confused by his world.
" Its minions killed my wife and Daughters, I could see their souls being sucked out of their bodies before my eyes ! The shadows killed everyone and spared my life. He'll come for me !.. HE'LL COME TO TAKE MY SOUL AAAAAAAAAAAAA ! "
As the man screamed Lucifer put his gun to the man's head and pulled the trigger smearing his blood all over the wall.
" Lucifer, why did you have to kill him! " Fenrir asks.
" Why wouldn't I kill him ? All I did was end his suffering, if you ask me I was doing him a favor. "
He turned and walked past them. The two remained silent and surprised by his coldblooded heart.
" Lord Lucifer is right, It best to end his suffering here and now than let him bask in fear "Eve said.
" I guess you're right, Let's go "
They followed Lucifer to a graveyard that's located near the village and the town. The place was all foggy and the moon shines brightly in the sky.
" My crow found this place when it was scouting. It's the best place to start looking " Lucifer said as he pushed the gate open.
" I hope there is something powerful so I can fight it "
Fenrir smiled. The three of them walk down the path between all the graves. It was a smooth journey all the way to a temple in the middle of the graveyard.
" Lucifer, do you sense that? " She asks.
Lucifer nods to Fenrir's question.
- There is a sinister aura emanating from inside that tomb -
He thought to himself as he looked at the purple color air flowing from inside the tomb. That didn't stop them from advancing forwards. After entering the tomb then followed a stairs leading downwards. Ahead of them there were many corridors and room filled with corpses.
" Lucifer, can you get clear reading on the path ahead? "
" No, Something is dampening my magic perception "Lucifer explains and then opens his two eyes.
Now he has to rely on his own two eyes to see ahead. They continue to walk down the corridor following the sinister air. Suddenly out of nowhere two undeads carrying swirls attack them.
Boom ! Boom !
With two bullets Lucifer easily kills them.
" There's more coming "Fenrir points out.
" I'll handle them "
Eve takes out two short swords and dash towards the undeads, cutting them down with relative ease.
" Lord Lucifer the path is now clear "
" Woah you got some skills "Fenrir complimented Eve with a smile.
They continue to destroy the undeads standing in their paths until they come to an open room. At the end of the room is a throne and sitting on that throne is an undead with black mist covering his body as it's robe. On his head was a crown and on his fingers was ten rings.
" Looks like we found the source of that aura"
Fenrir grit her teeth in fear as she got a reading on its power level of 33,500.
- We can't beat this thing even if we tried -
She said to herself.
The light inside the eye socket of the undead glow purple and looks at the three of them standing before him. It looks at Lucifer specifically as the Dark aura surrounding him caught its attention.
" Who dares enter the home of the great Elder Lich Arduvan "
Arduvan releases his aura to intimidate them and succeed in striking fear in to Fenrir and Eve but not lucifer.
- He's not intimidated by my presence, Impressive -
Arduvan thought to himself.
" I don't have time to talk with you.. Time to die "
Lucifer takes out his gun and starts to shoot at Arduvan. He casually raised his hand and the bullets disintegrated into dust. Lucifer was surprised to see that his bullets was dispelled with ease.
" Fools, Your powers are useless before me「Summoning Magic : Calvary of Death 」
An army of 200 undead stood between Arduvan and lucifer. The undead were donned in armor and weapons and some were on the back of horses.
" Way to go Lucifer you just had to tick him off " Fenrir said.
" Quiet "
Lucifer clad his hands in black flame and with one sweep he burned the army to ashes.
" Black flames, Impossible, How did you obtain that power ?"Arduvan asked.
" You talk to much "
Lucifer's curse mark appeared and he rushed to the undead. His fist was clad in darkness as he punched a barrier protecting Arduvan.
- That mark on his neck, I've never seen it before... and is this power of darkness ? Impossible ! -
Arduvan was surprised to see lucifer. He raised his hand and blew away Lucifer using wind. The wind was so powerful it tore off Lucifer's shirt and jacket.
" You're not strong enough to stop me. Surrender to me and swear you're undying allegiance to me " Arduvan suggested.
" Not going to happen "
" Lucifer, wait, Let's attack him together " Fenrir said.
Lucifer silently looks at Fenrir with his eyes.
"Alright let's do it "
"Okay, You too Eve "
" Understood "
The three of them attack Arduvan simultaneously.
" 「Shadow bind 」"
Suddenly black tentacles out of Arduvan shadows and rush towards the three of them. With ease the cut them down but soon After the three was overwhelmed by the number of tentacles.
" Bastard ! "
Fenrir tried to break free and she couldn't. Lucifer tried to use all of his strength as well but only managed to break a tentacle. Suddenly another one out of nowhere grabbed his hand and trapped him one again.
" Now that you're in my grasp I'll make you submit to me by force " Arduvan said.
" Well you can suck it, we'll never surrender to you ! " Fenrir shouts.
" we'll see about that "
Arduvan got up and walked to the lucifer, Fenrir and Eve who was still binded in his shadow.
" For years I've been searching for the right soul to complete my evolution and now I've find a perfect soul one with immense power "
He leaned over and looked at lucifer.
" I'm going to extract your soul and make your power make it my own "He said.
" Don't you dare touch him or I swear I'll kill you! " Fenrir shouts.
Arduvan didn't listen to her threatening words as he reached out his hand and placed it on Lucifer's head. Suddenly the light in Lucifer's eye dimmed.
" Let's get a peek inside the powers you possess Hahahahahahah "
" Nooooo ! "
Fenrir tried to break free but she couldn't but it was too late. Arduvan has started the process, He already knocked Lucifer unconscious and as he was about to extract his soul, Arduvan found himself in a dark space.
" What's this? "
Arduvan looked around and noticed there was a shadow before him outlined with green light. The shadow opened four green eyes and looked at him. It roared at him and blasted him away back to the outside world. Suddenly the darkness started to seep out of Lucifer and the tentacles binding his body turned to ashes.
Lucifer's body glowed in the air, clad in darkness and the curse mark on his neck spread out covering half of his upper body. His eyes were jet black and suddenly two more eyes opened on his face. Fenrir couldn't believe what was happening before her eyes and her earring couldn't stop shaking as it gave a reading of Lucifer's power level.
" A powerlevel of 31000 ! "
In the meantime
Blossom who stood before her core sensed something and looked around.
