Javelin Jin is the best postman in Frein Town. He received the badge of Outstanding Postman #192 edition in the Allen Kingdom last year. As a normal worker, he wakes up when the chicken crows and goes home after the dark sky appears.
He gives everything he has in life.
Nothing can stop him from working, except water.
"The weather has gotten worse and worse. A week ago it was humid, yesterday a tornado arrived, and now it's raining... what the hell does this town have? It's full of evilness!" Jave couldn't control his emotions when it comes to his postman job. The things he could do in an hour are ruined because of the weather.
"If only I could make a mana shield, this evil rain couldn't stop me from sending these mails...."
"You're very right," someone replied to him.
Jave, with two bags full of postcards on each arm, was stunned. He looked in the direction of the voice and saw a lady sitting on the floor in a black robe. It was bad panorama that made him jump in place.
But when he sees a stick on her left side, it makes him a bit comfortable. Yes, his stress was relieved after seeing the lady with a weird-shaped wooden stick.
"Ah... I thought something abnormal was about to happen..." Jave said with a pale face, the blood drained from his face.
"Well, isn't it too late for that?"
"Yeahhhh..." Jave breathed a big sigh, "But it's 5:10... WHAT DO YOU MEAN I'M LATE?" Jave said after looking at his almost broken watch, "Yesterday and every day we always meet at 5:25 in the morning, is my watch broken at the moment we speak?"
"No, it's not..."
"Oh???"
"As you can see, it's raining... if I'm late, we might not meet again in the future."
Jave shook his head, he couldn't believe what the lady said. "You're the first person I've met on the street that's so kind to me, and it's been two years since then. It's like... we've met every single day, Lady Jin!" Jave said with tears in his eyes.
Jave remembers how scared he was the first time he saw her. Lady Jin's beautiful and glamorous appearance made him scared because noble families always despised those lower than them. But at that time, it turned out she was a person who gave light to live in this cruel world.
"Ohh... why did you get emotional all of a sudden?"
"Lady Jin, if you disappear one day... I'm leaving this job." Jave is a hopeless young man in this world. He drops the bags from his arms.
"Nah, you won't." Lady Jin is shocked because he never does that when it comes to his postman job.
"I will."
"Don't you dare! Take your bags, now!" Lady Jin picks up the things that Jave dropped on the floor and cast magic to dry them from rainy wetness, then she put them aside.
"But I will! You're the one who gave me a job offer as a postman... I'm not gonna let everyone hurt or kill you, I will die for you." Jave stood up his body in an as appealing manner as possible, his tears coming out as he tried so hard to show his jawline—Javelin not having a jawline Jin.
"Nah, what are you going to do? You don't have any mana inside your body, you'll just become a useless body count if something happens to me!"
Jave is shocked again, "Well, that's hurt...." He lowers his head a bit.
Jave was not born in this world, but rather he was randomly transferred to this Isekai world by an accident on his 18th birthday.
Ever since he arrived, he has not gained any abilities, except being a regular human with his 18th birthday present watch from his friend that he wears on his left wrist when the accident happened, which is now almost broken in half.
Jave's life in this Isekai world does not resemble the light novel and manga stories told by the authors.
Everyone has been told a story that if you come to Isekai, you'll get some overpowered ability after being transferred by Truck-kun, but in Jave's case... nothing happened.
Jave was hit by a truck after saving someone's life, but no god spoke to him, and no angels were sent to him, except for a huge black bear who chased him down in the forest as he appeared.
Fortunately, he was able to run faster than a squirrel.
Jave struggled for the first year before beginning to work as a postman in this town, and his work ethic caught the office's attention, then won the badge of Outstanding Postman.
But with the society's structure based on magic and mana power, Jave can do nothing except deliver mail from house to house on foot.
Lady Jin is his savior.
Lady Jin's face becomes worried as she sees the tears on the man's face, "Ahaha, sorry... I know you're a great man in town, but you don't have to worry about magic and mana anymore..."
"Oh?" Jave stops breathing, 'I still want mana and magic in my life.'
Jave couldn't stand what she said. He must convince her to continue the lessons, even though he knew he couldn't get anything out of it. He still wanted to learn until the last drop, so he sat on the floor next to her.
"Why is it? Are you okay, Lady Jin?"
"Me, okay? Of course! You don't have to worry about the best sorcerer!" Lady Jin showed her beautiful smile that could make someone's heart melt, it was sweet like a cake, yet Jave didn't pay attention to it.
"No! I thought you wanted to give me magic and mana lessons today as you did for the past 700 days. Why do you want me to stop thinking about it? Why???"
Lady Jin just shook her head constantly after hearing that and said, "I told you, you don't have to worry about those things anymore. Why have you become so numb?"
"BECAUSE I STILL WANT TO LEARN MAGIC!" Jave is the only person who couldn't spell out any magic in this world.
Lady Jin's disbelief caused her beautiful smile to disappear. She felt the urge to hit this man and had to look up to the sky. "Is it because of the rain?! Ah, you never said that to me! Give me a moment!' "
Lady Jin began to rise from the floor, but Jave, who thought she wanted to leave him alone and didn't want to teach him about magic anymore, grabbed her legs tightly.
Lady Jin is the only person who is close to Jave, and he doesn't know what to do in this world if she leaves him.
"Please! Don't leave me..."
"What? Why have you become so stupid? Leave me some space!" Lady Jin hit Jave's head with her wooden stick.
"NO!!!"
"What are you doing?!!"
"DON'T LEAVE ME!"
Lady Jin stopped hitting him but instead placed the wooden stick on Jave's forehead.
Jave was shocked because she never let him touch the stick, no matter what happened. But now, she was the one doing something wrong.
Jave could see Lady Jin's eyes flash on him. They were normally blue, but now they were darker than ever. He knew that something not-so-good was about to happen.
"OPEN YOUR EYES!" she shouted.
Jave flew up into the sky, his spirit separating from his body, which was now lying on the floor.
"WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU?!!" Jave shouted so loud in the middle of the rain.
"I'M THE ONE WHO WAS SUPPOSED TO SAY THAT!! Let me get rid of them first!"
Suddenly, hundreds of Water Elementals with black auras appeared in front of them. Lady Jin didn't waste time and immediately raised her staff to the sky.
"Create Mana Shield! Within the power of the universe ruler...." The staff he hold blush up white lights and it almost enlightened 100 meters area, "Summon! Humid Typhoon and Heaven Orb!"
A big typhoon and hundreds of light orbs appears, it was a big range magic that gonna make a good combo and affected Water Elementals.
Jave was stunned, even in the spirit form, "Is this what you mean?"
"YEAH! THIS IS WHY WE'RE NOT GONNA MEET AGAIN IF I'M LATE, JAVE! THEY WANTED YOU!"
"Lady Jin... You—you can focus, you know—"
"SHUT UP, CLOCK HEAD!" She cut him.
