She closes her eyes; she knows what she has to do; the choice is made. She takes a deep breath, counting her heartbeats, using it as a clock, on when she shall exhale.
/"Leona!,/" but his deep voice won’t let her take a step, forcing her to open her eyes.
There he is, Aryan, running to stop her, trying to prevent her from doing what is right, what it is expected from her.
A tear rolls from her eyes, as she meets his mesmerizing gaze, begging for her to stop. /"Leona, please wait, don’t do it!,/" he screams from the top of his lungs. /"We can work this out, we can find a solut--,/"
She lets out a roar, echoing into the endless night, her fire growing quicker by the minute, but at the same time, Aryan is getting closer.
/"Light, guide me to do be right,/" she whispers to her, tears rolling down her cheeks, as this is the last time these eyes will look upon him.
