This night feels long, dragging more than it should be. She sighs, looking outside her window. The view is beautiful, as the snow has settled on the ground, giving a clear look of their path.
Zed analyzes her structure, her long hair, the dress that wraps her strong body. He is mesmerized by what he sees and can’t help himself. But he knows he should guard his thoughts, so he won’t scare her away.
Little did he know that Leona had already sensed his emotions and knew what was going on.
She looks closely outside, as she hears giggles. It’s Kat, playing with the snow. Alongside her is Aryan, joining the fight. He throws a snowball at her that she easily dodges. She then does the same, hitting him at his face and making him laugh.
They are having fun, making Leona jealous that she never had a chance at a normal human life.
