Blood dripping, too much. She is stumbling as she tries to keep her body from falling. She grabs her stomach, trying to prevent bleeding out. But it’s too late. She falls in my arms, and I grab her tight.
As we are both on the ground she looks deep into my eyes. They are dark, so black that I can see my terrified reflection staring back at me.
/"The Empress,/" I hear Kat’s tremoring voice.
/"Aryan look out!,/" Nasias shouts and I look up. The man is right in front of me, holding a black blade. He raises his hands high, and he is ready to strike me down.
I hold Etna close to my body and swing my right hand in the air. My sword appears, countering his attack. The metal sound echoes inside the room as I hold my position tight.
