The sky is dark and it’s going to rain. The thunder roars as the clouds are about to shed their tears. But the weather isn’t the only one that has been having a hard time.
He is pacing up and down, breathing in and out. He wants to smash the whole room, but he is holding himself from doing that. He clenches his jaw, and the cords of his neck are rigid. He grabs his head, for a moment, feeling like wanting to scream as much as he can and the next he immediately regrets it, seeing how this isn’t the optimum option.
/"That close, I was that close,/" he mumbles over and over again. He looks at the table in front of him, seeing the map that is unfolded.
/"North, fucking north,/" he growls, knowing that this is where he can’t control.
