#Chapter164
/"I’ll be alright/" she tries to reassure her father, being squished inside his arms.
/"You’d better be/" he responds back. Adrien joins their hug, whining that he can’t go with them. The task is too delicate so, not everyone can come.
/"I should be coming too/" Adrien complains.
/"Hey, this is an extraction mission. We need a specific number of people that are trained for this. It is a dangerous task, but these women can pull it off. Help father with the unity of the east, okay?/" she tries to comfort him.
/"Sure sis. You are right/" he agrees.
The party is about to leave but she can’t help but feel uneasiness inside her stomach, leaving her father, afraid she is going to break his heart. His gaze is filled with sorrow, sadness he tries to hide, to support her task and finally realize that Leona is not a little girl anymore.
‘I’ll come back alive; I promise.’
