Numb. A vague mental impression my inside grasps. Why?
Sizing the blonde fiancée, I smile flitting my gaze to Elijah whose poker face gave me the answer to my unanswered question. His eyes remained gazing emotionless at me but years of being alone buried most of my emotions, had it all dematerialize. So this possessive Russian is engaged and went through weeks of hard labor on me. For what? A quick fuck?

/"Really?/" I turn to the cheshire proud grinning fiancée. /"I have been meaning to meet you./" not expecting the calming aura I radiate, her face looks flustered. If only she knows the thick lava burning to burst out on the inside.
/"And who are you?/" Her snark comment grace a pretty grin on my lips facing Elijah whose eyes pleaded with me not to say a word. Walking closer, placing my hand to his chest I smile for his fiancée.
