Elijah
/"Elijah./" Her soft voice calls.
My eyes flitted to her bloody abdomen which she clutches tight. Quick enough to catch her as she fell unconscious. My mind ran into many places of what could have happened resulting to a bullet shot, still yet glad she kept her stubbornness aside and came to me. The anger boils in me thinking who will hurt my princess. I carried her to my room placing her gently on the bed. And I see it.
Ugly bruises on her face and arms, her neck reddens by a chokehold. Gritting my teeth, I stalk to the bathroom picking a pair of scissors, some wet towels and a bowl filled with water. Placing them beside her, I work on tearing off her clothes from her body proceeding to washing and cleaning her bruises. Sterilizing the scissors with alcohol, I went to work on the bullet in her. Shivers and painful moans came out of her lips even as she was unconscious of her surroundings.
