/"Look at this Selene/" I walked over to Hannah who had her face pressed against the glass of a selection of jewellery. After spending a night in the hotel, we headed into the town for shopping.
I bent down and saw a pair of beautiful peridot earrings which was her birthstone.
I glanced at her from the corner of my eye, I found it funny to see her eyes light up, but Hannah was a sucker for earrings especially ones this beautiful. Hannah had always liked expensive things, but she wanted to work harder and barely spend her hard-earned money of materialistic things.
/"why don't you try them/" I said. I looked up at the woman urging her to pull them out. /"no Selene I couldn't, I can't afford these/" she says stepping away. The woman paused.
/"carry on, just ignore her I'm your customer/" I said.
I felt Hannah tugging at my arm. What did she expect would happen when she would show me them and she desperately wanted them?
