#Chapter56
I waited in the car as Nick stood by the back removing his suit jacket. Nick even sent his driver home and said he would drive tonight.
/" How do you feel about some fried chicken,/" Nick said as he slid into the driver's seat. His tie was long gone and he popped open a few of his buttons.
/" lead the way sir,/" I said leaning back. There was no way I was going to pass up the opportunity for fried chicken.
Nick put the car into drive and drove out onto the road. It was still early so there was a bit of traffic on the roads, this gave us more time to talk as we waited.
/" I heard you ran into Juliette,/" Nick said turning to face me.
/" yeah i did, she's probably the nicest woman i've ever met at any event/" i told him. I wouldn't mind going f they were all as nice as she was. This is saying a lot since I've been to a lot of events, most of them not for my own interest.
It came with the job description.
