#Chapter30
/" So much for not leaving me/" I mumbled as I wandered into my kitchen. I had hoped I would find him already awake somewhere in the house but I'm guessing he needed to head to work.
To make things worse I had no milk in the fridge. Am I really going to have to go out just to get a decent coffee?
I stepped into the hallway to slip on some shoes when the door opened and there staring me right in the face was Nick.
Tesco bag hanging from his arm and two coffees in this other hand.
/"where do you think you're going /"he eyed me in my coat and about to slip on my trainers.
/"I thought you left/"
He grinned standing up straight. /"I did but I'm back as you can see. I checked your fridge, but it was empty, so I bought you some breakfast/" he wasted no time as he walked inside. I don't know why I was so surprised.
I followed inside the kitchen he placed a cartoon of eggs followed by sausages tomatoes and mushrooms.
