/"seeing you nervous actually brings me joy/" Jack called from the living room. I stood in the mirror smoothing down my dress.
I was getting ready for my date with Nick. I wasn't nervous but going on this date is a pretty big deal. I had no idea what it would lead to, but I was optimistic that it would be a night to remember.
Don't ask me why jack is here. It's not normal for your boss to help you get ready for a date, but I think after being friends with this man for god knows how long we have our reasons.
/"Molly I love you and everything but why did you decide to bring that idiot here/" I called out. I heard a faint /"hey/" before grabbing my shoes and heading towards them.
All I know about tonight's date is that we are going to a restaurant. Since he only gets off work at 6, I decided to just meet him there I'm sure that would be easier for him that way.
