I was relieved when we arrived back in London. I jumped off his lap as quickly as I could. Nate's laughter had me turning on my heel before walking into the station towards a Starbucks. I raised my middle finger at him and quickly ran inside the Starbucks leaving him to just watch my back. Watch me walk away from him.
I had felt very proud with how I left Nate out there gawking at my back but as I glanced at the door to the sound it opening and saw Nate glaring at me, I started to regret my decision entirely.
I really thought I would be safe in a public cafe but boy was I wrong. Nate came into Starbucks with a pissed off look and once his eyes landed on mine he made a straight line towards me and lifted me from my legs and hauled me over his shoulder.
/" Your drink Loretta/" one of the barristers called out to me. My latte would have to wait, especially when I have this brooding man carry me out with such determination.
