/" well you were right, this is delicious/" I said as I finished off the last muscle. After the food was served we spoke about many things. I was trying my upmost best to distract us both from the obvious bulge underneath the table.
Nate finished his glass of wine. /" I told you/" he mumbled. Nate had lightened up, but not by much.
I reached over the table and placed my hand over his. /" I think it would be best if we skipped dessert and maybe just headed to your hotel/"
The minute the words left my mouth. Nate shot up in his seat, surprised. /" you don't have a room here?/" he asked sounding genuinely surprised.
/" why would I, when you're here and I knew you would have a room/" I said stating the obvious.
/" but your bags?/" he asked.
