/"I’m not peeking. Like I even read this book before./" Rolling my eyes, I open the book.
/"Shit!/"
She laughs out loud. /"What should I do?/" she asks me with excitement.
My lips spread into a full grin and wink. /"Get down on your knees, Babe,/" I command, standing straight beside the bed and face her.
/"No! Let me see./" She grabs the book from my hand. Her eyes slightly widen, then squint, and look up at me. /"I think you’re cheating./"
/"How am I cheating? I open the book right in front of you like how you did. I shaved my legs because that was the page you opened. Now, get on your knees and play fair. This is your game anyway, I’m just following rules./"
She just pouts and doesn’t move.
/"See, now who’s cheating?/" I throw the book on the bed dramatically. I know her and she can’t stand me getting angry with her for long. I walk to the closet, opening it, and grab my sweatpants.
