I shifted to my black and white wolf as soon as I stepped off the porch, that's when I remembered I left Avery in the car. I ran over to the vehicle to see her sitting inside. She looked upset, my strong emotions from earlier probably affected her through our bond. She sensed me immediately as I got to the door and slowly opened it.
/"Al!/" She rushes out of the car and crashes into my body wrapping her arms around my neck. I could sense how worried she was.
I licked her face a few times to assure her that I was ok
/"Did you find them, the one with masters blood/" she asks, I shook my head no
/"They're still inside, they're still in the house/" she tell me worriedly
