ALESSANDRO'S POV
I feel a tiny body cuddled up against my chest, looking down I see little Avery sleeping soundly. I had planned for a simple nap but I ended up sleeping through the whole night, and the best part, no nightmares. I guess it was knowing Avery is safe with me that halted the nightmares since I always dream about her getting killed in front of me.
I turned slightly to see the sun was already out. I was about to start panicking when I remembered my dilemma and the ass whooping I got. I guess they were letting me rest since I haven't been summoned yet. I slowly moved away from Avery so I could get up and empty my bladder and do my morning routine. I headed to the bathroom dealing with my business, doing my routine and then came back to the room. Avery is still asleep so I picked up my phone and decided to try my luck at the door.
