#Chapter112
LILLY'S POV
A few miles in and Issac and I are both exhausted. I was so busy wanting to leave It didn't even occur to me that we had no water or food and since it's nothing but forest for miles we won't be seeing any stores for a while.
I didn't dare to ask for anymore assistance from rose because of the way I left, besides I doubt she'd help us anyway, I rejected her son.
With both our bodies at it's limit we stop under a tree on the roadside giving minimal shelter, to catch our breath.
My mouth feels dry like a barren wasteland and my clothes are wet from sweating, caused by the sun that had now come out in all its glory.
Looking at Issac, he's bending over and panting breathlessly. Seeing him like this I feel guilty. Though he may have supernatural abilities he's still a kid, plus I doubt he has ever had to walk this much in his human form before.
