#Chapter54
Javier looked at his watch for the nth time since he arrived at the gate of the property his sister was trying to sell. It looked quite familiar, but he could not remember where he had seen it or if he had been here before.
The gate opened behind him as Brianna's company car pulled up next to him, and she rolled down her window, staring at him from behind her sunglasses. /"Stop looking so angry, I said 14:30, not 14:00,/" she said and then pulled inside the yard.
He sighed and followed her inside, a frown on his face as recognition clicked in his head as he passed the ugly fountain. Wasn't this Alastair Cooper's house? Damn! He has not even been dead for a month and his wife was already cashing in on his stuff. He thought as he entered the house, where Brianna was seated on the staircase.
She looked nervous and yet deviant. /"Isn't this Alastair Cooper's house?/" He asked to clear the tension brewing.
