I didn't joke around when I said that I will resign. I put the resignation letter on his desk and took everything out from my office.
/"I know you have a good reason for this and I respect you.. but I do wish you to stay./" Scarlette said as she helped me carrying my stuff and I smiled at her.
/"I can't stay anymore. I won't come back either./"
/"I like you already and.. now you have to go./" She said in a sad tone.
/"I'm sorry but Brandon leave me no choice. I have to resign../"
/"I know it's none of my business but Brandon cares about you. If he said anything that hurt your heart please forgive him.. he's a little bit childish sometimes./"
/"I'm sorry, Scarlette. I can't continue working here again.. We can meet up outside sometimes for lunch./" I said and she nodded weakly. We walked into the lift and go down to the lobby. I sighed big time and ready to leave the building and everything behind.
