Silence engulfed the entire mansion as my sharp voice echoed, piercing their eardrums. I breathed hard backing away with a clenched jaw. Her mouth was open ajar in hysteria as she stared at me stunned. Lola had her hand on the chest while Victor stared blankly with slightly parted lips. Surprise coating his features. Harman stared at me longest and then bit his lips. He coughed a little and then burst into laughter. His entire frame shook and he leaned against the table for support. He pointed a finger at me while laughing like a maniac. I just glared at him like everyone else.
/"Crystal! That... that.../" he couldn’t complete his sentence before broke into laughter again, losing his breath. I rolled my eyes sitting back on my chair and stuffed my mouth full of food. They can go to hell, but I am not moving from here before quenching my hunger. Harman calmed a bit and settled beside me breathless.
