The Ambaram
Every figment of her body demanded to run and seek the light but she was glued to be tormented by those ugly demons. One by one, the images of the past kept jumping in front of her eyes increasing the level of restlessness. Lord, she wanted it to be over, or else she has to find a way to end the misery.
The fire was surrounding her. Its golden flames danced in seduction, inviting her to jump in and set aflame the soul but her body was rooted hard, disabling her from acting. Though the fire burnt dangerously, it did little to lighten the darkness scattered around her. She still can’t see anything other than the scorching fire and feel its heat on her flesh. A sheer layer of sweat was covering her. Her eyebrows were wet from this perspiration as she tried to find the answers of a puzzling life in between those flames and the dark horizon.
