The Ambaram
Strong arms grip her shoulder and pull her sagged body up. Her eyes flew open and collided with stormy blues that glared back with an emotion she failed to decipher. Her chest heaved with harsh breathes and dark spots danced in her vision. The blanket wrapped around her trembling frame suffocated her. A thin layer of sweat was covering her body like a second skin. Tears sullied her cheeks, screaming how close she was to death and its bloody claws. They were about to drag her to hell.
