He watched them for a short while, observing the changes between the two men he'd once known as individuals, but who they now were as pieces of a whole. Lucien had come into himself more. Confidence was a quiet passenger in him, but it was there all the same. He'd been somewhat of a nervous wreck before Angel. And the leather-toting, I-hate-the-world, Daisy Sunshine? Yup. His changes had been just as drastic. Less caveman. More awww! Less sharp looks and the feeling that every word you spoke to him was a drain on his existence, and more warmth and sweetness than Ronan would have ever have imagined him capable.
Nobody needed a man, or a woman, to be happy. Not really. But he couldn't deny that the right person was capable of merging creating a whole new definition of happiness. A secluded, secretive kind that lived between inside jokes and stolen kisses. In soft, subconscious actions and eternal moments.
