Hugging the monkey called Penguin closer to his chest, he waited to see if that made his Angie sad. It wasn't easy to tell. Angel didn't smile lots and lots like his Raven. Didn't laugh or show how happy he was like birdie. But his eyes said that it was okay. They were soft and warm, and as Ronan stared into them, he felt like Angie was letting him know it was alright.
/"One thing and then we won't talk about your Daddy for the rest of the night, alright, Ro-bow?/" When Ronan gave a tiny nod, pulling the stuffie closer to his chest, smiling slightly when Raven tucked the birdie one into his hand, Angel continued. /"Does he hurt you a lot? When you said he smacked you, does he only do it in some places, or lots of places for lots of times./"
/"Doesn't matter,/" Raven said. /"From the first time he put hands on him, he inscribed his own gravestone./"
/"Agreed, now shut up. Ro?/"
