/"I shouldn't have run away, should I?/" Ronan whispered to his meerkat, who sat opposite him in the eloquent little Wendy house. His sleeping pattern had gone to the dogs during his adventures with Raven, day becoming night, falling into his backwards routine, and it was close to two. a.m the last time he'd checked.
Seabreeze, or Seashine, because for some reason he'd double named the poor stuffie and seemed to alternate between the two, sat in the deck chair opposite him. Two electric lanterns lit up the interior, spears of light slamming against the painted, wooden walls and leaking out through the thin window. His meerkat looked funny beneath the artificial glow. His fur looked sickly, like he too had taken a deep hit from Ronan's behaviour. But then again, it had impacted the both of them.
