/"Thief,/" Raven said simply, rolling onto his back. Shadows coalesced along his naked form, shimmering along the ridges of his exposed shoulders like a glamorous cloak.
/"And what, pray tell,/" Ronan drawled out, watching him through hooded eyes, /"Is it that I have stolen, my sweet bird?/"
The hours had tumbled by in pained alacrity, weaving forward into a world of crisp darkness and whistling winds. The stars were stolen by thick hills of rolling fog, and from the hotel window, the ghostly form of the near full moon loomed. It was beautiful. It was peaceful.
He never wanted it to end.
Raven hummed out a husky chuckle. Those dark eyes darted to the side, watching him in a way that exposed him far more than that of his bared flesh, and he took his hand, laying it over his chest, pressing it firmly above his most vital organ. /"What do you think, smartass?/"
