#Chapter79
Epilogue03
He was waiting a long time. I had no idea what it said. There were a lot of big words that had my dyslexia saying 'LOL, not today, Satan' and some kind of diagram. I stared at it before shaking my head. /"What does it mean, Daddy?/"
/"Do you - /" Daddy breathed deeply. His mouth twisted before he carried on. /"Do you remember the girl that Isaac said I had gotten pregnant?/"
/"Yes,/" I said, cautiously.
/"I met up with her last week./"
/"Oh,/" I said. Oh. Oh. Oh. School kids had proved that words could hurt. They just hadn't prepared me for just how deeply they could cut. I didn't want to hear that. Not at all. But getting hurt over that was silly if there was a perfectly good explanation, right? /"How - how come?/"
He waved at the paper again. The layout, the words, the weird different coloured writing . . . yup. Still didn't make any sense to me.
