There are numerous plates lining the surface of the middle of the kitchen island.
One plate has bacon.
One has scrambled eggs.
Another has hash browns.
One has blueberry pancakes.
One has a stack of different flavored muffins.
Another has custard and chocolate filled danishes.
/"The fruit and drinks are in the fridge/" she informs me
My eyes widen at this.
There's more?!
/"Carolina,/" I call out
The blonde immediately turns to face me.
I notice that her hair is in a neat bun on top of her head, the loose strands that frame her face move with her every head turn.
/"I love you and I appreciate this,/" I assure her
The blonde nods her head.
/"But there is only two of us living in this house/" I remind her
She shrugs with a sad smile.
