I glance back down at the girl only to instantaneously notice her sticking out her bottom lip in a small pout.
I raise a curious eyebrow at her which only encourages the tiny girl.
When she inevitably does not let up after a few seconds I groan out with annoyance.
I cannot say 'No' to her.
/"Bailey, Faith?/" I call out to her parents
The two girls turn around in their metal chairs to face me, still laughing at something that Hanna said.
Seriously?
I get that they are best friends with my oldest sister and everything, but she is not that funny.
/"Can I take Maple to that lake over there?/" I ask them
It takes the mothers a few moments to calm down and cease their laughter completely.
/"Sure, just be careful/" Faith tells me with a small but heartwarming smile
Bailey nods her head, agreeing with her wife.
/"Maple is severely allergic to frogs/" Bailey informs me
