Her ash blonde hair is frizzy, which is a first.
It looks like she had it down previously but quickly pulled it up into a ponytail.
My eyes trail further down only to notice that the collar on her button up is buttoned all the way up her jaw.

I glance further down until I am looking at her legs and notice that she is steadily shifting her weight from one foot to the other.
Are her legs tired?
Did she walk here?

I have locked myself in my bedroom all day, my thoughts being my only source of 'entertainment'.
The mental images of my wrist snapping in Alexis's hold and my Mom's lifeless body lying in that hospital room have been replaying on a loop in my head all day.
