#Chapter237
/"Thanks, Ruby,/" I thank my best friend as I shove my dress into my backpack
/"I owe you one/" I promise her
My red haired best friend chuckles at this.
/"It's fine, Hails,/" she promises me
/"What time should I pick you up tomorrow?/" She asks
I take a moment to think over this question.
Hmm.
/"Seven thirty?/" I say with an unsure tone
/"I want to get some breakfast before school/" I tell her
She nods her head in agreement.
I smile before hopping out of her truck and shutting the car door behind me.
I wait for her to pull away before walking next door to my house.
I asked Ruby to park in front of my neighbor's house so that my parents wouldn't be suspicious if they are still awake.
It takes me no time at all to reach my house.
When I do I carefully sneak beside the house, into the back yard since the den is in the back of the house.
