I smile at her 'secret' as Isabella and Haley run downstairs at the sight of our aunt.
I have no clue why I do not talk to our aunt anymore.
She was the one to give me the 'birds and the bees' talk when I was first entering middle school since she knew I did not feel comfortable having it with my parents.
I make my way towards the living room, where my friends are, while my parents make their way towards my aunt.
/"Ooh, presents/" Bailey comments from the loveseat making me laugh as I place them on the coffee table
I walk over to the couch, taking a seat in between Aurelia and Faith.
/"Aren't you going to open them?/" Aurelia asks with a confused tone of voice
/"I don't want to seem rude/" I try to explain
I do not want to make them feel awkward if I open my early Christmas presents in front of them.
/"Nope, I'm curious as to what she got you this year/" Faith voices with a smirk
