Before I black out I see Charlotte punch Maddie in the nose.
She drops to her knees beside my body with panic clear in her face.
/"Shit Aspen, can you hear me?/" She asks with wide eyes
I slowly close my heavy eyelids.
/"Aspen, no!/" She yells as she lift my face
/"Don't fall asleep, don't you dare fall asleep/" She says
I don't respond as the darkness consumes me.

Pain.
That's all I feel.
I try to pry my eyes open only to be met with a bright white light.
I groan as I try to open my eyes again.
/"Aspen?/" I hear Charlotte ask with a shocked look. I slowly turn my head to the left and smile.
/"The one and only/" I say with a croaky tone
/"I was scared that I lost you/" she says
I look at her attire. She's dressed in all black.
