That meant that they were behind this barrier of blue fire. They were here. They were safe.
/"Aunt Ana./"
I call out with hope in my heart, drumming at the pace of meteor. /"Aunt Ana. Mum. Dad./" Let there be a voice to answer this anxious heart of mine. I pray, inching closer to the flame as the seconds pass by unanswered.
/"Zoella?/" It was Aunt Ana.
/"Aunt Ana. Yes, it’s me. I’m here./" And immediately the flames extinguish to reveal the other side. And the first thing that I see is this huge bonfire, lighting up the darkness the earth cast.
There she stood with her fiery blue eyes wide with shock but nevertheless moves forward, breathing out loud and pulling me tight into her embrace. /"Althea what the hell are you doing here?/"
