Ryder had told him that she was cleaning up the backyard because she wanted to turn it into a garden as a present for her mother’s birthday. And during all these days, Jake had witnessed the junkyard that he had seen the first time he went to her house slowly turn into a nice looking garden. There weren’t many flowers planted because of the weather getting colder, but even as it was now, it looked pretty good.
