/"Jay./" Leah sobbed in Jake's arms. Her tiny hand clutched tight on his jacket, pulling at it to get Jake's attention, but it was useless. The young man was frozen in place, not moving... not blinking... it even looked as if he wasn't breathing. Yet tears rolled down his face. This scared Leah. Somehow she could sense that something was wrong with Jake. What's worse is that she saw Aiden yelling, showing that scary angry face again and her father punching him...
Tears welled up in her eyes. /"Jay, I'm scared./" Leah cried.
Her sob finally managed to bring Jake back to reality. He wiped his wet cheeks and barely managed to give Leah a sad smile. /"Don't be scared. Everything is fine./" He planted a kiss on Leah's forehead and walked towards the exit of the gym. Behind him, Mathew was more confused than ever.
/"Jake! Jake! Where are you going? Wait for me!/"
But Jake didn't mind him and kept walking.
