/"Hehe, sorry sweetie, but the old camera has stopped working for five years now./" The old lady said with an embarrassed expression, her old wrinkled face blushed slightly. All three of them were in the room behind the bookstore used by the personnel. Ryder glanced at the computer that could have recordings of her Midnight’s face, her last hope of finding him that now just showed a poker game in progress and wanted to just break it into tiny bits. /"I keep it there to deceive people. Besides… it’s a bookstore. Who would steal books at these times?/"
/"The camera isn’t used just to see if someone steals the books, it can be used for other things like surveilling the workers./" Remy explained to the old lady feeling helpless in Ryder’s sake.
/"Being ignorant is quite nice sometimes./" The old owner shrugged and sipped at her tea as her eyes turned at the poker game she was playing online.
