As the two of them walked in silence side by side, curious eyes glanced at Midnight. The closer they got to the busy parts of the city, the more eyes fell on Midnight. Even though the hood over his head hid one third of the mask, it was still too eyecatching and unusual to see someone wearing a mask, calmly walking down the street. To don’t mention that the sight Midnight created was too captivating. Ryder noticed this and felt guilty. Then she remembered that it was his own fault for trying to cover his face and didn’t feel that guilty anymore. Or at least she tried to.
Midnight noticed her uneasiness and tightened the grip on her hand. /"What’s wrong?/"
/"N-nothing./"
Midnight suddenly stopped. This took Ryder by surprise and she repeated Midnight’s question. /"What’s wrong?/"
