The stairs were right opposite the front door. Henry who was supposed to let Aiden in, /"in/" as in /"in the living room/", merely allowed the boy to step inside the house and pinned him down right on spot with a cold glare that made Aiden’s blood run cold. So the two had front seats view of Ryder falling down the stairs while screaming, a sock on her hand, the other half worn in her foot, as Michelle exclaimed in horror with a hair brush on her hands.
When the screams died down, followed by a pained groan, the three pair of widened eyes looked at Ryder as she muttered a /"fuck/" and stood up rubbing her ass.
