Jasmine started to pout. Her head and heart were in a turmoil, both boiling uncomfortably. She didn’t know anything anymore. Remy’s attack had caught her off guard and fried her brain cells. It came out of nowhere like a sneak attack and left her crippled. She didn’t know what to expect anymore. At this point it wouldn’t be much of a surprise even if Ryder confessed to her right now.
