#Chapter47
Once the dust settles, the two men take in the scene before them. The leopard is a large male specimen and Piet estimates its body weight to be in the region of 140 kg, and about 6 or 7 years old, and judging from its condition, it hadn’t eaten in quite awhile which would help explain the sudden charge in their direction.
Roger calls into the police compound and requests that they send out a vehicle to collect them, as well as the body of the leopard. Once back at the compound, they would open the leopard up to check for any signs of human remains, but that was a long shot in the dark, as none of the victims had been eaten on. But both men hoped that this was their killer, and they could close the Chapter at only 14 people dead.
