#Chapter170
The sound of the collapsing mine carries down the passages, and the rumble causes Moses to stop, look up and listen to the growl of the falling rock until its fades away. Others in the caverns below the earth stop what they are doing to listen, to wait and see if it is going to come again, and if it’s going to be nearer to them.
/"Moses, what was that noise?/"
/"My child, the old mine has collapsed through age. We are lucky that Olga and Mr. Achmed, through the grace of Allah foresaw this happening, and we made a new entrance years ago, and dug into the rock into what is now our home./"
/"But what will happen if the rest of the tunnels fall down?/"
