#Chapter162
The African police officer sits in the lounge of his house on the outskirts of Lusaka, his two boys playing on their Play Station, while his wife is busy in the kitchen preparing him something special on his return from helping out in Kafue. His young daughter, who just turned nine, sits at his feet drawing a picture which she proudly holds out for him to see, and he feels as if an ice pick had just been driven into his heart.
The picture that she has drawn for him is a happy picture, it’s a picture of their whole family, all holding hands, with big smiles on their faces, and hearts fill the air around them showing the love that they have for one another.
