An uneasy calm has settled over the village with the arrival of Piet, David and three of Piet’s trackers. No further kills have taken place, so the five men use the time to set up a hide near where the last kill took place, taking great pains to ensure that they will be protected from any unwanted attention by the killer.
Then together with two of the villagers, the other kill sites are pointed out and they eventually end up at the crash site in the forest. /"Fok David, Debi was lucky to survive that bloody crash, just look at what the motor did to that cockpit./"
Looking up from the damaged cockpit David turns to his friend.
/"Yep, she is one plucky little girl, she was telling Adele and I about the hyenas, she must have been scared stiff but still stood up to them./"
/"Ja, lucky for her those two blokes from the village came along, I believe that one hyena was almost inside the damn plane when they took it out with a spear./"
