/"Eeeeeeee./" Jess's high pitched voice squealed into my ear.
She gripped my hand, her eyes ogling the ring before she squealed out again from the sight she was seeing.
/"Its beautiful./" I smiled.
/"Its fucking gorgeous, oh my god./" She carried on. /"Is this why you two disappeared last night?/" Her eyebrow raised.
/"Yeah. Sort of. He proposed in the garden./"
/"So romantic./" Jess being overly dramatic, she placed her hand over her heart and faked a tear.
I picked up my bag and began tossing my clothes and toiletries in to it. Jess picked up my shoes and placed them into my bag. Today, we were heading back home and I was happy to be back where its familiar and I couldn't wait to give my mom the great news.
Pulling my eyes away from the diamond, I looked toward the opening door. His eyes locking directly on me, I smiled at him, mentally enthusiastic about his return from his run.
