I was fidgeting with my nails. The cheap yellow nail polish was beginning to fade away from existence.
I was nervous.
Fuck that.
I was beyond nervous, I was scared.
Jason, Keira, Jess and I were sitting in Jason's truck, listening to the radio as we drove down the highway toward his parents home.
Jason locked his fingers with mine, hoping to put my fear to rest. I clung to his hand like glue, however my mind was still somewhere else.
/"No need to worry./" He tried to reassure me for the tenth time today.
How could I not worry? Everyone was expecting to meet me. The little human girl who took the title as Luna. Would they see me as worthy?
/"They will love you almost as much as I do./" He smiled.
