I asked a Brent, who met me just a few miles away from the cabin in his truck.
/"A lot of activity has been happening around this house. That is just as much as I know./"
/"What kind of activity? I need to know what dragged me away from-/"
A surge of excitement surged through my body. Something was happening. Something was wrong. I never felt something so intense. A warning so vibrant that it stunned me in the moment.

/"Stop!/" I commanded.
He slammed his foot on the break; his face twisted up in concern.
/"Call the others. Meet me at the house. Now!/"
I did not have time to wait for him. I got out the vehicle and rushed through the brush, pushing myself, picking up speed to make back to the cabin.
