#Chapter91
Turning to look at him I force the bump in my throat down. /"Of course. Respect all the way,/" I hold out my hand for him to shake to show him the respect I really do have for him.
/"Good. Then we won’t have any problems,/" he smiles at me before turning and walking away. I laugh because I realize that he was trying to intimidate me like he thinks he should. He does intimidate me but not in the ‘I’ll be cleaning my gun’ way. More in the I am in love with his daughter and want, no, need his blessing.
I finish my drink with my eyes glued to Maddy as she dances with her little brother. She is smiling and laughing with him. I love that she is so close with her siblings. Family is important to both of us so, I know that raising this child together will be easier than some people have. I have faith in us.
